Our Story

Straight Out Da Mudd

Out Da Mudd Smokehouse is owned and run by Diante Medley — born and raised in Halifax, VA. A barbecue pit specialist through and through, he's spent years turning real wood and low, slow heat into food people drive out of their way for across the southern Virginia region.

Every plate is pit-smoked with intention: real smoke, real seasoning, no shortcuts. From ribs and wings to steak tacos and smashy patties, it all comes off the same fire — and it all comes with the name on the truck behind it.
